Sonorabali.com – The Biathle Triathle World Championship Bali will be held on November 1-5, 2023 at the Mengiat beach, Bali – Indonesia.
The event is organized by the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) and the Modern Pentathlon Indonesia (MPI).Biathle and triathle are two of the five disciplines of modern pentathlon, an Olympic sport that tests the physical and mental skills of athletes. Biathle consists of a continuous run-swim-run, while triathle adds a laser shooting element to the biathle format.
The UIPM 2023 Biathle/Triathle World Championships will feature more than 500 athletes from 40 countries, competing in various age groups and categories. The event will also serve as a qualification for the UIPM 2024 Pentathlon World Championships.
Anthony Charles Sunarjo, the president of MPI, said: “We are very proud and honored to host the UIPM 2023 Biathle/Triathle World Championships in Bali. This is a great opportunity to showcase our beautiful island and our hospitality to the world. We are also confident that our athletes will perform well and make our country proud.”

We hope that this event will be able to attract event organizers, government that our area is very adequate in terms of security facilities and infrastructure of course as the location for hosting a sport event of UIPM class. The UIPM 2023 Biathle/Triathle World Championships will be held in accordance with the COVID-19 protocols and guidelines issued by the Indonesian government and the UIPM.
